This tie dye will give several colors which attract youngsters. There are many process like crumpling, pleating and folding practiced to form new designs and patterns.

The tie dye is applicable to natural fabrics like cotton garments or rayon clothing. The tie dye will not be applicable to synthetic material. In today’s fashion world cotton tee shirts are most adorable one. The fashion community wears different shades of cotton tee shirts where you can entertain maximum number of color combination in the tee shirts. The tie dye is also applicable to silk scarves, bed sheets, blouses skirts and pants.

There is lot number of color combinations used in the tie dye. Generally only few of three colors are chosen for bringing out patterns. It is also necessary to see that chosen color combinations should blend or mix with secondary colors. While preparing color mixtures the dye vats are kept in the pots which should be plastic in nature. The pots are then heated with help of stove or through grill oven.

The primary process in the tie dye is to soak the required material in the soda ash. It is recommended that all through the process one should use latex surgical gloves. If it is not used with gloves then you can experience the skin irritation.

During the tie dye process it is recommended that for 118 ml soda ash immersed in the one gallon of water which approximately weighs about 3.79 litres. The natural fabric is immersed for five to ten minutes and stirred with small agitation of the material. After the process the fabric material is taken out eradicating the surplus amount of water. The care is taken to see that fabric is not dried completely.

Spirals, stripes, donuts and starbursts are some of the readymade patterns used in developing the styles and designs in the fabric material. If you have own creative patterns then you can apply and try different styles to create new innovative patterns. After designs are applied to the fabric then it is folded with help of strings or rubber bands. The folding process also decides the style pattern of tie dye.

The material is first immersed in the hot vat of dye consisting of light color combination. The fabric is made to stay for four to seven minutes then washed thoroughly with warm water before applied to next color. The fabric stays long if it is immersed for longer time and hotter vat. In order to create desired patterns the portions are immersed in such a way that certain region is left alone.

In conclusively the material is washed with mild detergent and gentle mode in warm water or cool water. Hang drying is required with help of drier. For long lasting care the fabric should be washed with warm or cool water and dried later.
