There is a rising hit TV show it is a detective drama on ABC called Castle. The TV series is starred by Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic. For most viewers who are into crime related TV series this is one show you don’t want to miss. The American comedy drama, Castle is already on its second season. Nathan Fillion stars as Richard Castle, a novelist called by the New York Police Department to help solve a case of a murderer who makes crimes copied from Richard Castle’s novels. Stana Katic plays as Katie Beckett, she is accompanied by Richard Castle in investigating the cases at the same time Castle also uses her as the main character to one of Castle’s novels.

Nathan Fillion is also known for his appearance with Firefly and the movie Serenity. Nathan Fillion has a conservative background having grown from Alberta. Both his parents are English teachers. It is the first time Nathan worked with Stana Katic who has number of appearances herself from very notable hit TV shows like Heroes, 24. She also appeared in movies like The Spirit, Spirit of Love, Quantum of Solace and many more. Stana Katic came from Yugoslavia and studied acting in the United States she is also noted for her very good singing voice. The two TV actors have shown a very good chemistry on prime time TV. I believe that Castle’s second season would surely compete with today’s best TV shows air prime time on American television.

For me Castle is a typical crime show showing a tandem between someone outside the force and an ordinary writer. There have been many TV series about police detectives like CSI, Numbers etc. Castle is unique because it has some comedy aside from the mysterious side of its story. I can say it would be nice if the series would continue for another season and maybe they could spice it up a little by adding new characters and a secondary plot.
