Attractive Kuta part 2

Kuta has now become the urban tourist centre and has merged with Legian the neighbouring town in the north which has become the commercial center for Kutu with many restaurants and entertainment sports. Southern section of Tuban houses most of the areas beach front hotels.
The northern extension of Kuta is Legian and Seminyak quieter suburbs which have cottage style accommodations where more number of people live. Apart from these two in the north are Petitenget, Berawa, Canggu, and Seseh. They can be reached through Abian Timbul or Denpasar and Kerobokan. Hotels Oberoi Bali, Hard rock Hotel bali, the Tntan Bali Village and the Legian are in Petitenget. The Dewata Beach and the Bali Sani Suites are housed in Berawa. To the south the beach of Kuta extends to Jimbaran beyond the airport
From the Ngurah Rai airport Kuta is just 2 km away and a taxi ride from the airport cost around Rp25,000 to Poppies lane / benesari area which has budget accommodation.
Nightlife in Seminyak became dull after 2002 Sari Club bombing but better night clubs like MBarGo, The Wave, the new Paddy’s and Sky Lounge with open front have come up with easy escape as a precaution should any further untoward happen. This makes nightlife continue in Kuta.
Real estates prices remain high in Kuta for the land owners do not want to sell the land seeing long term benefits. Tuban Kuta and Legian areas still continue to be a traveler’s hub. Kuta is one of the upcoming island, which needs more care to develop as a major tourist spot. Though Kuta may not be a paradise it is still a worth visiting travelers spot.
